Every year, on the third Friday in September, a number of Philadelphia’s metered public parking spaces are transformed into lively pop-up parks throughout the city. Groundswell’s past installations have included everything from a shipping container art gallery to a lush urban lounge, providing a brief respite from the hustle and bustle of city life.
